About the project
Loci (Latin for places) turns any neighbourhood into a guided walk. It builds a route from nearby points of interest, and as you approach each one it writes a short story about it and reads it aloud. Photograph something strange and Loci researches it, grounded in where you're standing.
The first version demos fully offline from a couch, with a simulated walk on by default and real GPS wired in behind a switch.
What it does
- GPS-aware walking routes through nearby highlights
- Spoken stories that trigger as you arrive
- Point the camera at anything and ask
- Works in airplane mode for the demo
